India Awakening

The election results today are probably a sign of things to come. It shows that the nearly 10 crore first time voters are wiser and more sensible than their older citizens. That young India is not bothered about religion and creed, but security and safety. They are not worried about caste and community, but more about education and opportunities. And with the number of young and educated voters set to increase for the next few decades, its obvious that the closing bell has started to ring for the politicians who have so far tried to divide the nation and loot us. Kudos to the winners and may God bless our new leaders with enough sense, health, and strength to take us forward as a nation! India first!

Special congrats to Shashi Tharoor who won from Trivandrum with a margin of nearly one lakh votes!

More than anything, the stability, the death of regional parties and the death of communists made me happy after the results.
But I really hope, such idiots like arjun singh wont be there to come up with more reservations, cbse status for madrasas kinda rules..
and I also hope they will deal terrorism with an iron hand, unlike the last 5 years..hang the morons afzal guru and kasab as soon as possible and send the message loud and clear!

and yes..shashi tharoor, for whom the blogworld did the silent campigning online has won a massive victory...Proud of the Trivandrum voters, including me :D

Im over the moon, I was hoping for Tharoor to squeeze through, perhaps by around 5-8k votes... but 1,00,000!! Nah, not even in my wildest imaginations!

Congrats to the man, and special congrats to Tvmites..:)

I would have said "India keeps sleeping":-)

It is the people that make the politicians.

Who really are the criminals, then?

Our voters have finally woken up and given the verdict. Communist party deserves to be where it is now. I thought Shashi Tharoor would just scrape through but over a lakh votes. :-)) Brilliant! Congrats to him.

Let the change begin! :-)

It is high time the political parties realised that the candidates should have genuine attainments to their credit. Indian National Congress deserves to be congratulated for accommodating Shashi Tharoor whom the electors of Trivandrum have accepted wholeheartedly.

i also feel the same!
the new generation are least bothered abt the racial and religious by lines of some major parties. they are just bothered abt how the country is gng to do in future. they didnt opt for Obama's motto of 'vote for change' as the options they had to choose from were limited. instead they wisely opted for NO CHANGE.
which would atleast help keep a stable economy, government and let all the policies implemented in the past 5 yrs sink in and take effect!! :-)

a word of concern. What about 80 corore uneducated, poor people...ohhh my goodness, the gos is here to svae us. The first reaction of the finace minister was that he is going for more deregulation....that is nice.....america wake up....here we are puting ourself for auction....buy buy and perishhhh.....this is a good opportunity...don't miss it...when you praise you should remamebr how shasi Tharoor got into UN. The mighty Indira Gandhi given a recommendation letter......what a merit, come on cheer up...Like Tarlo said about the Indiar rule during 1970's espeaclly about her activities in Delhi sub Urben areas,"aholish the poor, to erdaicate the poverty" What an idea, should salute her. Manmohan may wipe out all the poor form the country, and will eradicate poverty....will be excellent idea.....today a good news came from Pakistan just a second before now. My friend Pof. Happy Jacob(JNU) now in Lahore passed the information that Pak has 60 warpointed nuk wepones. All are loaded with misseles and pointed towerds India....again a good idea to make everbody empowered...kill at one go.....i am sitting in Noth Delhi...i will be the first among many.....what a good news.....left should be wiped out form the country....then only we could do what ever thing we want.....we will allow reliance to take over the administation indelhi....then every thing will be fine.....

kuttappa....why are you forgetting the Rajeev Gandhi and his arms deals. what you mean by 400 core business empire. Its parties property. Its communist parties long standing opinion. Accornig to EMS sine bourgeoisie have a strong establishments, communist also need to build institutions. For congress, it is not party, but leaders. Look at the properties of congress leaders. from 10 rupee to 10 core in five years. If you want to know about it, look at election commission data about the property holding of MP's.

Again, what are they going to do with power at the center. What is congress going to do? Nobody knows. Rahul these days saying about domocratisation. He apparentilly forget that he is also a member of Gandhi dynasty and only because that he is in congress working committe.

Is this blog is sponsored by kpcc? There are lot of other problems facing by current kerala. In all of these is communalism and terrorist attitude of religious heads. They are hijacking kerala. What LDF govt done in education was a path breaking one. It was met with failure because of media ,church and udf. Even the people in christianity, muslim supported the intiative of govt but they never wanted to antagonise religion. Iam not marxist. Iam not supporting current marxist party. But the current govt has done lot of people friendly works which are not marketed by the govt itself. It is deeply involved in fractionism. New generation is deeply manipulated by the media in kerala which is highly biased and have hidden agenda
